Philip H. Germann

Laconia, NH------Philip H. Germann, 66, of 57 Union Avenue, died on Friday, November 28, 2003 in Memphis, Tennessee.

Mr. Germann was born September 2, 1937 in Mishawaka, Indiana, the son of Herbert and Catherine (Morgan) Germann. He graduated from Mishawaka High School with high honors. He attended Western Michigan University where he graduated with a degree in Paper technology. He was a member of the Delta Chi Fraternity. Before moving to Laconia, he lived in Conway where he was a Driver&Mac226;s Education Instructor for several years. Mr. Germann went back to School and earned a masters in counseling. He was a member of St. James Episcopal Church in Laconia.

Mr. Germann was very involved in volunteer work and counseling, especially in the NH prison system. He was committed to giving back to the community.

Survivors include two sons, Edward P. Germann of Florida and Will J. Germann of Arizona; two sisters, Judy Johnson and Kathy Burkley, both of Michigan and many nephews and nieces.

There will be no calling hours.

A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, December 9, 2003 at 7:00PM at the St. James Episcopal Church, 876 North Main Street, Laconia, NH. Rev. Jonathan MacKenzie, Rector of the Church, will officiate.

Private Burial will be held at Bayside Cemetery, Laconia, NH.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the St. James Episcopal Church, 876 North Main Street, Laconia, NH 03246
