Alice Roberts

Gilmanton Iron Works, NH----Mrs. Alice Roberts, 83, of 102 Varney Road, died at the Concord Hospice House, Concord on Monday, December 15, 2003.

Mrs. Roberts was born January 25, 1920 in Merrimac, MA, the daughter of George A. & Elizabeth (Moore) Titcomb.

Mrs. Roberts lived in Pelham, NH for several years before moving to Gilmanton Iron Works in 1973. She was a governess for the Hilberg Family of Laconia for many years.

Mrs. Roberts was a volunteer at Camp Fatima for thirty years. She made the costumes for the annual theme week for the Exceptional Citizens Week.

Survivors include her husband of fifty-four years, Chester E. Roberts, of Gilmanton Iron Works; two daughters, Connie L. Hyslop, of Gilmanton and Carolyn H. Lynch of Ipswich, MA; a son, Ernest G. Roberts of Loudon; a stepson, Malcolm E. Roberts of Wallingford, CT; 8 grandchildren; a sister, Norma Doucette of N. Berwick, Maine and many nephews and nieces.

Family and Friends are invited to gather at the family home at 102 Varney Road, Gilmanton Iron Works, NH on Wednesday, December 17, 2003 from 2:00-8:00PM.

A private funeral service will be held in the spring.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the CRVNA Hospice House Program, Hospice House, PO Box 1797, Concord, NH 03302.
