Brigid Conover Kilfoyle

Ashland-----Brigid Conover Kilfoyle of Ashland, New Hampshire died Friday, December 20, 2002 of injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

The daughter of Sarah A. Kilfoyle of Plymouth, New Hampshire and the late John B. Kilfoyle, Ms. Kilfoyle was born in Trenton, New Jersey, May 10, 1973.

Ms. Kilfoyle graduated from the Pennington School in Pennington, New Jersey and was a 2002 magna cum laude graduate of Plymouth (NH) State College, earning a B.S. degree in elementary education.

Ms. Kilfoyle was a fifth grade teacher at Elm Street School in Laconia, New Hampshire and was also a long-time employee of the Common Man family of restaurants.

An accomplished athlete and student, Ms. Kilfoyle was recently inducted into the Pennington School Athletic Hall of Fame for her achievements.

A four-year starter in both soccer and basketball at the Pennington School, Ms. Kilfoyle received numerous honors including New Jersey All-State and All-Prep designations and the Coach Long Athletic Award for outstanding contributions to the Pennington School through athletics.

Ms. Kilfoyle leaves behind a legacy of caring and giving, devoting herself to the support of others through education, friendship and philanthropy.

Survivors include her mother Sarah, her brother Michael Kilfoyle and his wife Barbara, nieces Logan A. and Madison A. Kilfoyle, all of Plymouth, NH, aunts, uncles and cousins in New Hampshire, New York, and North Carolina.

There are no calling hours.

A memorial service will be held at the St. James Episcopal Church, 876 North Main Street, Laconia Saturday, December 28, 2002 at 10:00 A.M. The Reverend Jonathan MacKenzie rector of the church will officiate.

The Wilkinson Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia is in charge of the arrangements.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Brigid C. Kilfoyle Memorial Scholarship Fund c/o Lakes Region Scholarship Foundation, P.O. Box 7312, Gilford, NH 03247-7312.
