Nancy Morse Moser

Gilford, NH-----Nancy Morse Moser, 70, of 90 Dinsmoor Point Road, died at her home on Thursday morning, December 5, 2002.

Mrs. Moser was born January 10, 1932 in Manchester, the daughter of Charles H. & Effie E. (Blakeney) Morse. She was raised in Hooksett and graduated in 1950 from Pembroke Academy in Pembroke. In 1954 she graduated from Brown University with a Degree in English Literature. She lived in New Jersey for many years before moving to Gilford, NH in 1988. Mrs. Moser was a member of the choir at the Methodist Church in Weehawken, New Jersey, at Brown University and at Pembroke Academy. She was also a member of the Tenafly (New Jersey) Community Theatre, a volunteer at the Bergen Pines (New Jersey) Hospital, a Board Member of the Streetcar Company Community Theatre in Laconia, NH, where she acted and stage managed, a member of the Wesley Players Community Theatre in Gilford, NH; a member of the Thompson-Ames Historical Society in Gilford, NH and was a volunteer at the Lakes Region General Hospital and for Community Health and Hospice in Laconia, NH. She loved to cook and do crossword puzzles.

Survivors include two sons, Charles V. Moser of Mason, NH and Robert M. Moser of Fogelsville, Pennsylvania; two daughters, Susan B. Siebels of Fairbanks, Alaska and Sarah C. Taylor of S. Newfane, Vermont; 6 grandchildren; her beloved former husband, George P. Moser, Jr. of S. Newfane, Vermont; a sister, Patricia L. Nix of Naples, Florida; and several nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by a half-sister, Ruth Mackenzie.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday, December 8, 2002 from 2:00 to 5:00 PM at the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH, using the Whipple Avenue entrance.

A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, December 9, 2002 at 11:00 AM at the Gilford Community Church, 19 Potter Hill Road, Gilford, NH. Pastor Sara Allen, will officiate. Spring Burial will be at the family lot in Pine Grove Cemetery, Gilford, NH

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Thompson-Ames Historical Society, P. O. Box 7404, Gilford, NH 03247-7404 or to Community Health & Hospice, Inc. 780 North Main Street, Laconia, NH 03246.
