John N. Heath

Belmont——-John N. Heath, 86, of 421 Jamestown Road, died at the Belknap County Nursing Home in Laconia on Thursday, April 25, 2002.

Mr. Heath was born September 24, 1915 in E. Haven, Vermont, the son of Norris and Eunice M. (Washburn) Heath.

Mr. Heath was a Seebee in the U. S. Navy during WWll. He lived in Laconia for a few years before moving to Belmont 54 years ago. He was the Service Manager for Coca Cola Bottling Co for more than 35 years.

Mr. Heath was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Laconia Post #1670 and a member of the American Legion Wilkins-Smith Post No. 1.

Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Alberta (Smith) Heath of Belmont; two daughters, Brenda J. Heath Phelan of Candia and Susan O’Callaghan of Meredith; one granddaughter, Colleen Bolton and her husband Greg of Candia; two great grandsons; two sisters, Evelyn Julia LaPlante of Laconia and Doris Locke of Laconia; and many nephews and nieces.

There will be no calling hours.

A Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, April 30, 2002 at 11:00 AM. at the family lot in Union Cemetery, Laconia. The Rev. Charles Crook, pastor of the Belmont Baptist Church will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Belknap County Nursing Home Activities Fund, 30 County Drive, Laconia, NH 03246 or Community Health & Hospice, 780 North Main Street, Laconia, NH 03246.
