Burns F. King

Gilmanton Iron Works——-Burns F. King, 82 , of Tibbetts Road, died at his home on Wednesday, April 17, 2002.

Mr. King was born in Woodland, Idaho on July 24, 1919, the son of Arthur & Irma (Mills) King.

Mr. King was a graduate of Kamick High School in Idaho, Class of 1939.

He was a S/Sgt. in the U. S. Army Air Corps during WW II serving from 1940-1945 in the Pacific. He was employed by United Technologies of East Hartford, CT for 35 years and retired in 1983.

Survivors include his wife, Elsie (Moulton) King of Gilmanton Iron Works and a sister, Iris Hopewood of Portland, Oregon.

There will be no calling hours or funeral service.

A Private burial will be in held in the family lot in Pine Grove Cemetery, Gilmanton, NH.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Community Health & Hospice, Inc. 780 North Main Street, Laconia, NH 03246.

Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH is in charge of the arrangements.
