Lakeport———-Brian S. Donovan, 43, of 17 Granite Street, Lakeport, died at the Lakes Region General Hospital, Laconia on Sunday, April 28, 2002.

Mr. Donovan was born April 14, 1959 in Laconia, NH, the son of John L. and Constance (Piuma) Donovan, Sr. He was a lifetime resident of Lakeport. He worked as a tube bender at Scotia Technology for 18 years, retiring in August, 1999 due to illness.

Mr. Donovan dedicated his life to his family.

Survivors include his wife, Bonnie Mae (Little) Donovan, of Lakeport; his mother, Constance Donovan, of Laconia; three sons, Joseph S. Donovan, Corey V. Donovan, and Micah V. Donovan all of Lakeport; a daughter, Tawni V. Donovan of Lakeport; three brothers, William Donovan of Gilmanton, Michael Donovan of Laconia and Robert Donovan of Sanbornton; four sisters, Constance Donovan of Gilford, Dawna Schaub of Sanbornton, Faith Scott of Belmont, and Laurie Ann Leslie of Laconia; and many nephews and nieces whom he felt were his own children. In addition to his father, he was predeceased by two brothers, John J. Donovan, Jr. in 1985 and Mark Donovan in 1986.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, April 30, 2002 from 6-9 PM in the Carriage House of the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of the Lakes Church, 50 Washington Street, Lakeport on Wednesday, May 1, 2002 at 11:00AM. Rev. George Soberick, Pastor of the Church, will officiate. Burial will be held at a later date in the family lot at Union Cemetery, Laconia.
