Gilmanton-----Ruth F. Page, 73, of 541 Meeting House Road, died at the Huggins Hospital, Wolfeboro on Thursday, August 24, 2006.  She was the widow of Atty. George Otis Page who died February 21, 2005.

Mrs. Page was born November 5, 1932 in Boston, MA, the daughter of Walter D. and Helen A. (Hodgkins) Berry. 

Mrs. Page lived in Lynnfield, MA for many years.  She had been a summer resident of Gilmanton, NH from 1945 until 1966 when she became a year round resident.

  For over thirty-six years, Mrs. Page was secretary/receptionist for her husband.

Mrs. Page was a member of the New Hampshire Cemetery Association, serving as the secretary and treasurer from 1984-1986.  She was also a member of the N. H. Old Graveyards, the Smith Meeting House Association and had been President of the Smith Meeting House Cemetery since 1968.

Mrs. Page is survived by a son, John S. Page III, of Alton, NH and several nephews, nieces, cousins and many friends.

There will be no calling hours.

          A Graveside Service will be held on Sunday, August 27, 2006 at 1:00PM at the family lot in Smith Meeting House Cemetery, Gilmanton, NH.

         In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Smith Meeting House Cemetery Association, Harold McArdle, Treasurer c/o Gilmanton Town Hall, PO Box 550, Gilmanton, NH 03237.

         Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH is in charge of the arrangements.
