Laconia---Mrs. Beatrice A. Peckham 84, formerly of 90 Blueberry Lane died at the Belknap County Nursing Home, Sunday, August 31, 2003. She was the widow of William F. Peckham who died in 1976.

Mrs. Peckham was born September 13, 1918 in Peabody, Mass. the daughter of Dennis J. and Mary (Gallagher) Wynne.

Mrs. Peckham had been a resident of Laconia since 1999 coming from Carver, Mass. She had been employed as a key punch operator for General Electric in Lynn, Mass. for many years.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law Janet and Leo Feret of Laconia; 3 grandchildren Tara Erath of Arlington, VA., Kristin Ford of Seattle, Wash. and Nicole Feret of Cambridge, Mass.; 2 great-grandchildren; a sister Mary Jones of Middleboro, Mass.; several nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by a brother Robert Wynne who died in 2000.

There are no calling hours.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Sacred Heart Church, 291 Union Ave., Laconia, NH on Saturday, September 6, 2003 at 10:00 AM. The Rev. Adrien R. Longchamps, Pastor of the church will officiate. Burial will be in Union Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Lakes Region Adult Day Health Care, 17A Church Street, Laconia, NH 03246 or the Belknap County Nursing Home, Activities Fund, 30 County Drive, Laconia, N.H. 03246.
