Gilmanton, NH--------Mrs. Marian Johnson, 79, of 42 Wood Drive, died at the Concord Hospice House, Concord, NH on Wednesday, August 13, 2003.
Mrs. Johnson was born March 29, 1924 in Attleboro, MA, the daughter of Leslie and Edna (Carpenter) Cash. She lived in N. Attleboro, MA for many years and was employed at Howard Johnson's in Walpole, MA. In 1982 she moved to Gilmanton, NH.
Mrs. Johnson enjoyed music and art.
Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Paul E. Johnson, of Gilmanton, NH; two daughters, Peggy Lee Swift of Plainville, MA and Gail P. Weiss of Bellingham, MA; one son, Lane Steven Johnson of S. Weymouth, MA; five grandchildren; two great grandchildren; one sister, Virginia Hillman of Attleboro Falls, MA and one brother, Milton Cash, of N. Attleboro, MA; and several nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by five brothers.
There will be no calling hours.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2003 at 1:00 PM at the Jehovah's Witness Kingdom Hall, 35 Blueberry Lane, Laconia, NH.
