Bernard Frederick Veloski

Sanbornton, NH----On August 9, 2003 Bernard Frederick Veloski of Sanbornton, who was born to this world on December 2, 1913, was called from his earthly home.

He was the son of the late Andrew Veloski and Agnes Harzinski of Curwensville, PA. and beloved husband of 57 years to the late Frances E. Veloski. He is survived by a son, Robert A. Veloski of Belmont, NH, and two daughters, Janet Payne of Gilford, NH, and Dianne Veloski of Sanbornton, NH, as well as twelve grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

He was born in Curwensville, PA, and served during the Great Depression in the Civilian Conservation Corps and later as a medical corpsman in the Army Air Corps during World War II, assigned to the European Theater. Following the war, he worked for over 30 years at the General Foods plant in Woburn, MA, retiring and moving his family to Sanbornton, NH, in 1977.

There are no calling hours.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 12, 2003 at 1:00 PM using the carriage house entrance at the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Lung Association of NH, 9 Cedarwood Drive, Unit 12, Bedford, NH, 03110 or the American Cancer Society, Centralized Memorial Processing Center, 30 Speen Street, Framingham, MA, 01701-9376.

The Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH is in charge of the arrangements.
