Gary Guy Sargent

Belmont----Gary Guy Sargent, 55, of 55 Diane Drive, died at the Lakes Region General Hospital, Laconia, Saturday, August 9, 2003.

Mr. Sargent was born September 3, 1947 in Manchester, NH the son of Guy and Louisa (Vosgershian) Sargent.

Mr. Sargent was a truck driver for New Hampshire Wilbert Vault Co. and Phoenix Precast Products in Concord, He also drove for Dubois Transportation in Franklin, retiring June 11, 2003 due to illness.

Mr. Sargent enjoyed being out doors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He got the biggest kick out of his stepson, Neil, and brother&Mac246;in-law, Skip, after he had them hooked on sport fishing. Mr. Sargent loved to fly and did a lot of flying. He loved to take his loved ones. Mr. Sargent would sing Karaoke. His favorite was „Blue Suede Shoes.‰ He would also sing „Little Sister‰ with his sister, Barbara.

Survivors include his wife, Carol (LaPlant) Sargent of Belmont; his mother, Louisa Sargent of Bow; two daughters, Kathy Cheney of Concord and Bonnie Sarrette of Bow; a stepson, Neil LaPlant of Winnisquam; five grandchildren; a brother and his wife, Tom and Irene Sargent of Bow; a sister and her husband, Barbara and Chris Rich of Penacook; and many nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by his father.

There are no calling hours.

A graveside service will be held in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Laconia on Thursday, August 14, 2003 at 11:00 AM.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Belknap Sportsman&Mac226;s Club Assn. PO Box 214, Laconia, NH 03247-0214.

The Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia is in charge of the arrangements.
