Glencliff----Laurence E. Wilkins, 73, of  High Street, died at the Glencliff Home for the Elderly on Friday, April 10, 2008.

Mr. Wilkins was born May 15, 1934 in St. Johnsbury, Vermont, the son of Laurence  A. and Hazel Harrset (Danforth) Wilkins. 

Mr. Wilkins served in the U. S. Army during the Korean Conflict.

Mr. Wilkins graduated with a B. S. in Accounting from Husson College, Bangor, Maine in 1961. He taught business courses at Morse College in Connecticut and was employed as an accountant for over twenty years for a number of companies in New Hampshire.

Survivors include two sisters, Lois Esterline of Zephyr Hills, Florida and Lorraine of Florida and several nephews and nieces.  He was predeceased by a son, Laurence A. Wilkins, and by a sister,  Laura May.

There will be no calling hours.

A Graveside Service will be held later in the spring at Oakland Cemetery, Meredith.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Glencliff Home for the Elderly – Activities Fund, PO Box 77, Glencliff, N.H. 03238.
