Meredith Center-----June A. Sidney, 41, of 129 Meredith Center Road, died suddenly at the Lakes Region General Hospital, Laconia on Friday, April 18, 2008.

June was born September 17, 1966 in Rochester, N. H., the daughter of John and Shirley (Oikle) Philbrick.  She had been a resident of Meredith Center for the past twenty-four years coming from Rochester, N.H.

June was employed at Amatex Corp., Laconia for the past year and  previously had been employed at L. W. Packard, Ashland for fifteen years.

June loved auto racing, camping and fishing.  She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Wilkins-Smith Post #1 of Laconia and was also a member of the Meredith Fire Department Auxiliary.  She loved spending time with family and friends.

Survivors include her husband of twenty-four years, Elwin R. Sidney III, of Meredith Center; a son, Elwin R. Sidney, IV, and a daughter, Amanda Sidney, both of Meredith Center; her mother and step-father, Shirley and Wilbur Gray, of Rochester; her paternal grandmother, June Philbrick, of Rochester; five stepbrothers; five stepsisters and many nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles and cousins.  June was predeceased by her father, John Philbrick, in 2004. 

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, April 24, 2008 from 6:00-9:00PM in the Carriage House of the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, N. H.

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, April 25, 2008 at 11:00AM also at the Funeral Home.

Burial will be in the family lot in Oakland Cemetery, Meredith Center.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association, 2 Wall Street, Manchester, N. H. 03101or to the American Cancer Society, Gail Singer Memorial Building, 360 State Rte 101 Suite 501, Bedford, N. H. 03110-5032.
