Laconia---Rita M. Plourde, 78 of 25 Union Ave. Apt. 610 died at her home on Saturday April 12, 2008.

Rita was born May 19, 1929 in Laconia, the daughter of Lorenzo and Albertine (Parent) Bourgault. She was a lifelong resident of Laconia.

Rita was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church. She was employed at New Hampshire Savings Bank and also City Bank for 25 years retiring in 1990.

Survivors include her husband of  fifty-three years, Albert J. Plourde, of Laconia; a son Michael Plourde of Candia; a daughter Susan Emery of Gilford; four grandchildren; a brother, Leopold Bourgault, of Laconia and many nephews and nieces.

There are no calling hours.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Church, 291 Union Avenue, Laconia on Saturday, May 17, 2008 at 10:00AM by Rev. Adrien Longchamps, pastor of the church.

Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery.

 In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Community Health & Hospice, Inc., 780 North Main Street, Laconia, N. H. 03246.
