Laconia-----Dawn R. Landry, 49, of 138A Mechanic Street, Lakeport, died at the Lakes Region General Hospital on Wednesday, April 16, 2008.

Mrs. Landry was born May 21, 1958 in Laconia, the daughter of Russell V. and C. Lavern (Myhand) Weeks.

Mrs. Landry was a life long resident of the Lakes Region and was employed in the press room at the Laconia Citizen for ten years.  She enjoyed painting, golfing with her husband, playing video games, camping and spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband of thirty-one years, John J. Landry, of  Lakeport; her mother, C. Lavern (Myhand) Weeks, of Franklin; a son, Jay Joseph Landry of Manchester; a daughter, Jennifer E. MacLeod, and her husband, Malcolm N., of Laconia; three grandchildren, Kayla R. Garland, Karina J. MacLeod and Aidan J. MacLeod; one brother, Joseph Weeks, of Lake Wales, Florida; two sisters, Linda Deware of Belmont and Debra Hickey of Worcester, Mass. and several nephews and nieces.  Mrs. Landry was predeceased by her father, Russell Weeks, and by a sister, Lora Stirling.

The calling hours and funeral service will be private.

Burial will be in the family lot in Beech Grove Cemetery, Gilmanton, N. H.
