Julia S. Simoneau Send a condolence note

Laconia-----Julia S. Simoneau, 92, of 21 Ledges Drive, Taylor Community, died at the Congregate Living Center on Tuesday, April 1, 2008.

         Mrs. Simoneau was born July 1, 1915 in Cambridge, Mass., the daughter of Konstant J. and Mary Annie (Waishnoras) Shlaitas.

Mrs. Simoneau lived in Gilmanton for many years before moving to Laconia where she lived for over fifty years.  She  was employed at Barberry Mills for twenty-five years.

         Mrs. Simoneau was a member of the Unitarian Universalist Society.

         Survivors include two grandchildren, Lisa Michelle Hotalen and Jonathan Covell, both of Rochester, N. Y.; two great grandchildren; a sister, Wanda Sidlauskas, of  Sun City West, AZ, and several nephews and nieces, including Sandra Hillsgrove of Loudon, N.H.   Mrs. Simoneau was predeceased by her husband, Ulysses C. Simoneau, in 2003 and by a son, Francis Covell, in 1974.

         There will be no calling hours.

         A graveside service will be held at a later date at the family lot in Smith Meeting House Cemetery. Gilmanton, N.H..

         In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the N.H. Humane Society, PO Box 572, Laconia, N. H. 03247.

         Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 164 Pleasant St., Laconia, N. H. is in charge of the arrangements.
