Laconia-----George E. Kinnear, 93, of Weirs Beach, died at the Lakes Region General Hospital, on Saturday, April 29, 2006.
Mr. Kinnear was born November 19, 1912 in Boston, MA, the son of George E. and Essie May (Parker) Kinnear. He lived in East Boston, MA for many years before moving to Laconia ten years ago.
Mr. Kinnear was a truck driver for General Shipping Engine Works, in East Boston, retiring in 1983. Mr. Kinnear enjoyed golfing.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara (Krafve) Kinnear, of Weirs Beach; a son, Russell G. Kinnear, of Atkinson, NH; two daughters, Joyce Zemina of Marstons Mills, MA and Patricia A. Costonis of Oak Park, CA; one grandchild, K C Costonis of Oak Park, CA and several nephews and nieces. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a daughter, Gail Norris, and by his brothers and sisters.
There will be no calling hours.
A Private Family Graveside Service will be held.
