Laconia-----Carole Ann Goss, 57of 62 Edwards Street, died at her home on Thursday, April 27, 2006. She was able to keep a positive attitude throughout her long battle with cancer.

Mrs. Goss was born October 30, 1948 in Laconia, NH, the daughter of Richard and Rose (Jarvis) Avery. She was a lifetime resident of Laconia and graduated from Laconia High School in 1967.

Mrs. Avery owned and operated SoPro for a number of years. She enjoyed bowling and crafts.

Survivors include her husband, Glenn S. Goss, of Laconia; a son, Jason Corbin, of Stoneham, MA; two daughters, Charlene Pratt of Mechanicsburg, PA and Sara Goss of Laconia; two stepsons, Amos Goss and Adam Goss, both of Los Angeles, CA; four grandchildren; a brother, Vern Avery, of Dorchester, NH; a sister, Bonnie Taylor, of Campton, NH and a step-brother, Al Mitchell, of Laconia. She was predeceased by her parents and by her stepfather, Ernest Mitchell.

Memorial calling hours will be held on Tuesday, May 2, 2006 from 7:00-9:00 PM in the Carriage House of the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH.

A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, May 3, 2006 at 3:00PM also at the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home. Rev. Sharron Lamothe, Pastor of the United Baptist Church of Lakeport, will officiate.

Burial will follow in Bayside Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Community Health & Hospice, Inc., 780 North Main Street, Laconia, NH 03246, the United Baptist Church of Lakeport, 35 Park Street, Lakeport, NH 03246 or the Lakes Region General Hospital, Oncology Department, 80 Highland Street, Laconia, NH 03246.
