Thomas M. Whedon

Bristol, Connecticut----Thomas M. Whedon, 56, of 76 Rollinson Road and formerly of Laconia, NH, died at his home in Connecticut.

Mr. Whedon was born April 20, 1946 in Laconia, NH, the son of Eugenia M. "Dolly" (O'Mara) Whedon and Marshall D. Whedon, Jr.

Mr. Whedon was raised in Laconia, NH and graduated from Laconia High School in 1965 and from the Manchester Vocational Technical Institute in 1968. He was a self-employed welder.

Mr. Whedon had been a resident of Bristol, Connecticut for the past twenty-five years. He was a volunteer for the St. Vincent DePaul Society in Connecticut.

Survivors include his parents, Eugenia M. "Dolly" (O'Mara) Whedon and Marshall D. Whedon, Jr. of Laconia, NH; two daughters and sons-in-law, Susan and Eric Zagorski of Land O'Lakes, Florida and Sarah and Dan Riedel of Tampa, Florida; one grandson, Brandon Zagorski of Land O'Lakes, Florida; three sisters, Marcia St. Louis of Tilton, NH; Jean M. Baker of Elizabeth City, N.C and Virginia "Ginger" A. Ainsworth of Center Conway, NH ; a brother, James M. Whedon of Unity, NH; three nephews and seven nieces.

Memorial calling hours will be held on Wednesday, April 23, 2003 from 6:00-8:00 PM at the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph Church, Laconia, NH on Thursday, April 24, 2003 at 10:00AM. Rev. Gary Kosmowski, Pastor of the Church, will officiate.

Burial will be held at the family lot in St. Lambert Cemetery.
