Florence E. Sidney

Meredith Center-----Florence E. Sidney, 63, of 129 Meredith Center Road, died at the Lakes Region General Hospital, Laconia on Friday, November 30, 2007.

Mrs. Sidney was born February 29, 1944 in Laconia, the daughter of Lloyd and Rose (Goupil) Bailey.  She was a life long resident of  the Lakes Region and was employed at the Meredith Center Store for a few years.

Mrs. Sidney enjoyed her family, camping, fishing, the ocean and working at the store.

 Survivors include three sons, Elwin R. Sidney III and his wife, June, Michael Sidney and William Sidney and  a daughter, Suzanne Taggett and her husband, Micheal, all of Meredith Center; a stepdaughter, Cynthia Davis, and her husband, Chet, of Florida; nine grandchildren, Elwin Sidney, Amanda Sidney, Kayla Sidney, Katlyn Sidney, Matthew Sidney, Charles Taggett, Andrew Taggett, Joshua Taggett and Aaron Taggett; four brothers, Lloyd Bailey and his wife, Paula of Weare, Jerry Bailey and his wife, Jane, of Weare, Newell Bailey of Weare and Arthur Bailey and his wife, Rhonda, of  Oklahoma; two sisters, Patricia Lovering and her husband, Don, of Weare, Susan Lovering and her husband, James, of Manchester; one brother-in-law Irving Sidney and his wife Lois of Meredith; a sister-in-law Patricia Fogg of Meredith and several nephews and nieces. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Sidney was predeceased by her husband, Elwin R. Sidney, Jr., in September, 2004.

         Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, December 5, 2007 from 6:00-8:00PM in the Carriage House of the  Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, N. H.

A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, December 6, 2007 at 11:00AM also at the Funeral Home.

Burial will follow in the family lot in Meredith Village Cemetery, Meredith, N.H.
