Shannon Eileen Richards

Gilford, NH-----Shannon Eileen Richards, 25, died at the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, Lebanon on Friday, November 2, 2007.

Shannon was born on March 17, 1982, St. Patrick’s Day.  She was a graduate of Kennett High School, Conway, NH. and Quinnipiac University, Hamden, Connecticut.

Prior to her illness, Shannon was employed as a vision therapist by All Ages Vision Care of Charlotte, NC.

Shannon is survived by her step-mother and father, Colleen and Billy Richards (NHFD-Ret.) of Gilford and her mother and stepfather, Sheila (Siwek) and Tom Dinardo, of Dummer, NH; a sister and her husband, Kelly and Jason Parsons, of Center Conway; three step-brothers, Michael, Alex and Sam Vitale all of Gilford and formerly of West Haven, CT; a niece, Hailey Tofflemoyer and a nephew, Connor Tofflemoyer, both of Center Conway.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, November 7, 2007 from 4:00-8:00PM in the Carriage House of the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH.

A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, November 8, 2007 at 11:30AM also at the Funeral Home.

Burial will follow in Bayside Cemetery, Laconia, NH

In lieu of flowers, her family requests donations be made in her name to either CHaD, Children’s Hospital at Dartmouth, One Medical Center Drive, Lebanon, NH, 03756 or St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN  38105-1942.
