Mary A. Bruce

Laconia--------Mary A. Bruce, 86, of 122 North Street, Lakeport, died at the Lakes Region General Hospital on Sunday, November 18, 2007.  Mrs. Bruce was the widow of Phillip L. Bruce who died in 1994.

Mrs. Bruce was born November 21, 1920 in Cambridge, Mass., the daughter of Salvatore and Concetta (Sturniolo) Giannino.  She lived in Cambridge for several years and was employed at the Old Colony Knitting Mill in Newton, Mass.  In 1954, she moved to New Hampshire.

Mrs. Bruce was a communicant of Our Lady of the Lakes Church, Lakeport.

Survivors include three brothers, John Giannino of Somerville, Mass., Peter Giannino, of Billerica, Mass. and Frank Giannino of Arlington, Mass. and many nephews and nieces.  In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Bruce was predeceased by two brothers, Samuel Giannino and Joseph Giannino and by two sisters, Josephine Trischitta and Veronica Spear. 

Calling hours will be held on Monday, November 26, 2007 from 2:00-4:00PM in the Carriage House of the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, N. H.

 A Funeral Service will follow the calling hours at 4:00PM also at the Funeral Home.

Burial will be in the family lot at Pine Hill Cemetery, W. Bridgewater, Mass. on Tuesday, November 27, 2007 at 1:00PM.

 In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the New Hampshire Humane Society, PO Box 572, Laconia, N. H. 03247.
