Laconia-----Kenneth W. Russell, 81, of 11 Paul Avenue, died at his home on Tuesday, May 12, 2009.
Mr. Russell was born April 21, 1928 in Woburn, Mass., the son of Fred and Margery (Gustafson) Russell.
Mr. Russell served in the U. S. Army. He lived in Center Harbor for several years before moving to Laconia eight years ago. He was a self-employed plumber and caretaker, retiring in 1995.
Mr. Russell is survived by his wife, Joyce B. (Thomas) Russell, of Laconia; two sons, Todd W. Russell of Eddington, Maine and Parker K. Russell of Tacoma, Washington; one daughter, Heather B. Gagnon of Dunbarton, N.H.; five grandchildren and one great grandchild.
There will be no calling hours.
A Private Service will be held at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Highway, Boscawen, N. H. Rev. John Davies, Community Health & Hospice Chaplain, will officiate.
Please omit flowers. Donations may be made to Community Health & Hospice, Inc., 780 North Main Street, Laconia, N. H. 03246.
