Laconia-----Albert Fred Perry, 80, of 27 Adams Street, died at the Lakes Region General Hospital on Monday, May 18, 2009.

Mr. Perry was born July 28, 1928 in Winsted, Conn., the son of Fred and Florence (Hurd) Perry.

Mr. Perry had lived in Laconia for sixty-four years and had been employed at Scott & Williams for thirty years before retiring in 1968. He was a member of the Laconia Planning & Laconia Zoning Boards for several years.

Mr. Perry enjoyed woodworking and watching the Boston Red Sox. Also, his family was very special to him, including his pet cat, Morris.

Mr. Perry is survived by his wife of 63 years, Louise E. (Nedeau) Perry, of Laconia; a son, Alan Perry of Laconia; three daughters, Laura Lanigan of Laconia, Mary Alexander of Laconia and Rhonda Knowlton of Laconia; thirteen grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; a brother, Arthur Perry, of Adams, Mass; a sister, Alice Dydowicz, of North Adams, Mass. and four nieces. He was predeceased by his parents and by a son, Raymond Perry, of Etna on August 19, 2008.

There will be no calling hours.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph Church, 30 Church Street, Laconia on Friday, May 22, 2009 at 10:00AM by Rev. Gary Kosmowski, Pastor of the Church.

Burial will follow in the family lot in Union Cemetery, Academy Street, Laconia.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the New Hampshire Humane Society, PO Box 572, Laconia, N. H. 03247.
