Belmont-----Thomas M. Maher, 91, of 343 Jamestown Road, died at his home on Saturday, May 23, 2009. Mr. Maher was the widower of Grace E. (Allard) Maher who died in 1982.

Mr. Maher was born December 5, 1917 in Brooklyn, New York, the son of Dennis and Katherine Maher.

Mr. Maher served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He resided in New York City for a number of years before moving to Belmont, NH in 1972. He had been employed at Baron’s Machine Shop.
Mr. Maher is survived by a sister, Eleanor Gardiner, and by a niece, Deborah Gardiner, both of Port Washington, N. Y.

There will be no calling hours.

A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, June 1, 2009 at 12:30PM at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Highway, Boscawen, N.H.
