Franklin, NH ---Judy W. Gazza, 69, died peacefully at the Lakes Region General Hospital, Laconia on Thursday, September 17, 2009 after her three year battle with ovarian cancer.  Mrs. Gazza was born in Rockville-Vernon, Conn.  She was the daughter of Richard Merrill and Harlene Floris (Connery) Wilkinson.   

Mrs. Gazza loved reading, quilting, knitting, sewing, square and round dancing, clogging, and people. She was active in several groups including Quiltin in Tilton, Lady of the Lakes Quilt Guild; and too many others to list.

Survivors include her three sons James John, Randy Jay and Richard Robert and a sister, Harriet Fresolo.

There will be no calling hours. 

A time for celebration and sharing will be held on Saturday, October 3, 2009 from 1:00-4:00PM at the Merrimack Valley Train Station, 5 Park Street, Northfield, N.H.

  In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to one of her charities which include the Lakes Region General Hospital Oncology Department, 80 Highland Street, Laconia, N.H. 03246, Baby Threads, 653 Main Street, Laconia, N. H. 03246, the Franklin Visiting Nurse Association, 75 Chestnut Street, Franklin, NH 03235, David’s House, PO Box 660, Lebanon, N.H. 03766, and the Hall Memorial Library, 18 Park Street, Northfield, N.H. 03276.

  Every one of these groups had supported her or those closest to her tremendously and were sacred to her sacrificing time and skill to help them.  We ask you to help continue her work.   We all can only hope to be loved half as much as she was and touch half the lives she did.
