Laconia----Shirley E. Boisvert Novak, 82, of Girard Street, died Friday, September 12, 2008 at the St. Francis Rehabilitation & Nursing Center. She was the widow of Bennie J. Novak, Sr. who died November 29, 2007 and was also the widow of Omar G. “Red” Boisvert who died in 1992.

Shirley was born October 1, 1925 in Cambridge, Mass., the daughter of Russell and Winnifred (Dexter) Davis. She had been a resident of Laconia for the past 50 years coming from Pittsfield, NH.

Shirley had been employed at Wilcom for 13 years, retiring in 1989.

Survivors include 2 sons, Russell R. Perrino and Ernest Boisvert; 2 daughters, Judith M. Wright and Jean C. Cormier; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; 3 sisters, Margorie Davis, Barbara Grierson and Margaret Corkum; several nephews and nieces. Besides her parents and her husbands, she was predeceased by a daughter, Dorothy Ann Massaglia, in 1983.

There are no calling hours.

Private services will be held on Wednesday, September 17, 2008 at 11:00 AM at the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street Laconia using the Carriage House entrance.
Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Community Health & Hospice, Inc. 780 North Main Street, Laconia, NH 03246.
