Elmer Richard Fowler

Sanbornton----Elmer Richard Fowler, 81 years old, passed away August 31, 2008 at the Peabody Rest Home in Franklin, N.H.

Mr. Fowler was born in Bismarck, North Dakota and spent his youth in Connecticut and San Diego, Calif. In California, he enjoyed collecting antique furniture and clocks and also raising roses.
Mr. Fowler was employed as a salesman most of his life and worked for Mobil Oil Co., Pepsi Cola, Winnebago and Brookfield Postal Uniforms. He served in the Navy during WWII in the Pacific Theatre along with his father.

Mr. Fowler is survived by his daughter by his first wife, Sandra Leighton, and her husband, Earl, of Sanbornton. He was predeceased by his two wives, Viva Arleen Heilig and Frances Elizabeth Sorensen.

There will be no calling hours.

A graveside service will be held at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Highway, Boscawen, N.H. on Friday, September 12, 2008 at 3:00PM.
