Grace G. Whittier

Laconia-----Grace G. Whittier, 46, of 42 High Street, died at the Lakes Region General Hospital on Monday, September 3, 2007.

Mrs. Whittier was born March 3, 1961 in Laconia, N. H., the daughter of Richard and Vivian N. (Crawford) Hughes.  She was a lifelong resident of Laconia and was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary Veterans of Foreign Wars Laconia Post #1670. 

Mrs. Whittier loved her cats.

Survivors include her husband, Medric H. Whittier, Jr., of Laconia, N. H.; two daughters, Adonia Whittier and Abigail Whittier, both of Colorado; three sisters, Marlene Bernard of Lancaster, Vicki Whittier of Belmont and JoAnn Hughes of Gilford and many nephews and nieces.

There will be no calling hours.

A Graveside  Service will be held on Friday, September 7, 2007 at 1:00PM at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery, Boscawen, N. H.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to American Cancer Society, Gail Singer Memorial Building, 360 State Rte 101 Suite 501, Bedford, NH 03220-5032.
