Gilford-----Mary E. Snyder, 79, of 56 David Lewis Road, died at the Catholic Medical Center, Manchester on Saturday, September 16, 2006.
Mrs. Snyder was born August 4, 1927 in Wyoming, PA, the daughter of Nicholas and Elizabeth (Marstell) Petrill. She lived in Agawam, MA for several years before moving to Gilford, twenty-seven years ago.
Mrs. Snyder was employed at the Newark State School for many years. She enjoyed gardening and shopping and was a member of the Laconia Savings Bank Prestige Plus Club.
Mrs. Snyder is survived by her husband of thirty-nine wonderful years, Richard A. Snyder, of Gilford; a sister, Dorothy Reklaitis, of Connecticut; several great nephews and great nieces and several great-great nephews and great-great nieces. She was predeceased by her parents, Nicholas Petrill and Elizabeth Gonzales and by a sister, Lucille.
There will be no calling hours.
A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, September 23, 2006 at 10:30AM at the family lot in St. Rocco Cemetery, Oak Street, Pittston, PA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Catholic Medical Center, Building Fund, Development Office, 100 McGregor Street, Manchester, NH 03102.
