Northfield-----Jonell Kuzma, 68, of 290 Oak Hill Road, died at her home on Saturday, September 9, 2006.
Mrs. Kuzma was born on October 30, 1937, in Madisonville, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Roy and Othello (Morrow) Russell.
Mrs. Kuzma was a longtime resident of the Lakes Region and was formerly employed as a manager at Laconia Shoe.
Mrs. Kuzma enjoyed her family, gardening, antiquing, yard sales and was a volunteer at The Society of St. Vincent DePaul in Laconia.
Survivors include her husband of twenty-six years, John A. Kuzma, of Northfield; three daughters, Sherry Reitz and her husband, Karl, of Laconia and her former husband, Greg Hanks, of, Maine, Deborah Amatucci and her husband, Paul, of Maine and Susan Kuzma of Massachusetts; a son, Dr. John Kuzma and his wife, Linda, of Iowa; six grandchildren, Jason Hanks and his wife, Helen, and Sarah Hanks, all of Tilton, NH, Julie Soprano and Heather Soprano, both of Maine and Barbara Kuzma and Natasha Kuzma both of Iowa; three great grandchildren, Eyan Hanks and Liam Hanks, both of Tilton, NH and Benjamin Nazarian, of Maine; two brothers, Jerome Russell and James Russell both of California; two sisters, Sue Grant of Belmont, NH and Ruth Flynn of Maine and several nephews and nieces.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a sister, Geneva Gasper.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, September 13, 2006 from 6:00-8:00PM in the Carriage House of the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH.
A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, September 14, 2006 at 11:00AM also in the Carriage House of the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH.
Burial will follow in the family lot in Bayside Cemetery, Laconia, NH.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St. Vincent DePaul Society, P.O. Box 6123, Laconia, NH 03247 or to Community Health & Hospice, Inc., 780 North Main Street, Laconia, NH 03246.
