Olive May Hennessey

Laconia-----Olive May Hennessey, 88, of 30 Spring Street, died at the Belknap County Nursing Home on Friday, September 30, 2005. She was the widow of George “Spike” A. Hennessey who died in 1993.

Mrs. Hennessey was born August 6, 1917 in Lakeport, the daughter of Alfred G. and Mary E. (Carnes) Hillson and was a lifelong resident of the Lakes Region. She was employed at the Lund Ski Factory and Scott & Williams.

Mrs. Hennessey was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star #33 of Alton and Wolfeboro.

Mrs. Hennessey is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Richard and Jane Hennessey of North Conway and Gary and Denise Hennessey of Hooksett; one daughter and son-in-law, Patti and Steve Vespa, of Laconia; ten grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Leona V. Hennessey of Rochester and several nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by her husband of fifty-four years, George A. Hennessey and by her parents.

There will be no calling hours.

A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, October 7, 2005 at 1:00PM at the family lot in New Riverside Cemetery, Alton, NH.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Norris Cotton Cancer Center, Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, One Medical Center Drive, Lebanon, NH 03756
