Belmont----Marie Rose Cass, 74, of 41 Concord Street, died at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, Lebanon on Saturday, September 03, 2005. Mrs. Cass was the widow of Raymond S. Cass who died in 1990.

Mrs. Cass was born July 4, 1931 in Laconia, the daughter of Albert and Dorothy (Locke) Vaillancourt. She was a life long resident of the Lakes Region.

Mrs. Cass loved playing Bingo, traveling and family vacations. She also enjoyed taking care of others.

Survivors include three sons, Scott Cass and his long time companion, Theresa Dumark of Belmont, Peter Cass and his long time companion, Wanita Archibald of Palm Springs, FL and James Cass and his wife, Kathleen of Canterbury; a daughter, Judy Morris of Durham, ME; eleven grandchildren, Benjamin Cass of New Boston, Kate Bystrom of AZ, Christopher Cass of Bethlehem, Kimberly Cass of Franklin, Jennifer O’Connor and Sebrina Wallace both of Brunswick, ME, Rose Morris of Durham, ME, Christina Morris of CA, Jackie Rossomango, Gina Rossomango and Nicholas Cass all of Belmont; 8 great-grandchildren; two brothers Alfred Vaillancourt of FL and George Vaillancourt of Northfield; three sisters, Dorothy Beaupre and Mary Jane Chase both of Belmont and Rita Kimball of Franklin. Mrs. Cass is also survived by her dog, Truffles. Besides her husband and her parents, she was also predeceased by a son, Michael Cass in 2004 and two brothers, Leo and Raymond Vaillancourt.

There will be no calling hours.

A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, September 7, 2005 at 11:00 AM at the South Road Cemetery, South Road, Belmont.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Cancer Research AICR, 1759 R Street N.W., Washington, DC 20009.
