Gilford----Richard E. Brulotte, 74, of 344 Old Lake Shore Road, died at the Lakes Region General Hospital, Laconia Saturday September 17, 2005.
Mr. Brulotte was born October 22, 1930 in Belmont the son of the late Edmund and Blanche (Gagne) Brulotte.
Mr. Brulotte served in the US Army during the Korean War. He had lived in Laconia for many years moving to Gilford in 1971. He was employed at Scott & Williams for many years. He had also been employed as head of maintenance at the Brickyard Resort. He also worked at Aavid and was a good mechanic working for his dad at “Eddie’s Garage”.
Mr. Brulotte was a communicant of Our Lady of The Lakes Church, Lakeport. He was a member of the Laconia Lodge of Elks #876 and also a member of the VFW Post #1670 in Laconia.
Mr. Brulotte loved his game time with his grandchildren, swimming in his pool and his dog “Toma”. He enjoyed hunting, camping and loved gardening.
Survivors include his wife of 53 years Joan P. (Drouin) Brulotte of Gilford; 3 sons Timothy R. Brulotte and his longtime companion Wendy of Sanbornton, Scott A. and his wife Elizabeth Brulotte of Gilmanton and Edmund A. and his wife Wendy Brulotte of Gilford; a daughter Lisa E. Brulotte of Summerfield, N.C.; 9 grandchildren Jennifer, Ryan, Jaden, Nicole, Mitchell, Renee’, Connor, Drouin and Jackson; 1 brother Raymond Brulotte of Belmont; 2 sisters Jane Whitten of Stuart, FL and Lorraine Randlett of Lakeport; many nephews and nieces. Beside his parents he was predeceased by a brother Norman J. Brulotte in 1995.
There are no calling hours.
Services will be private. Burial will be in Bayside Cemetery, Laconia.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society Gail Singer Memorial Building 360 State Rte 101 Suite 501 Bedford, NH 03110-5032.
The Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home & Cremation Services 164 Pleasant Street is in charge of the arrangements.
