John Wesley "Jack" Cilley

Laconia, NH-----John Wesley “Jack” Cilley, 60, of 9 Shore Drive, died on October 3, 2007 at Brigham & Women’s Hospital, Boston, Massachusetts.

Jack was born in Melrose, Massachusetts to the late Barbara (Rowe) and Wesley Cilley.  He was raised in Burlington, Vermont.  As a young adult, Jack moved to New Hampshire where he resided the remainder of his life with his wife and children.  He served in the U. S. Coast Guard from 1966 to 1970.  He then married and went to school becoming a distinguished professional civil engineer.  He last worked for many years as the assistant engineer for District Three N. H. Department of Transportation.

Jack was the beloved husband of Charlotte S. Cilley and loving father of Kimberly, Lori, Julie and Jacquelyn Cilley.  He was the loving “Papa” of Madison, Elizabeth, Haley, Jade and Mia.  He was the beloved brother of JoAnn, David and Laura and uncle of six nephews and six nieces.  He was dearly loved and will be sorely missed by all his family and friends.

There will be no calling hours.

There will be a celebration of his life on Saturday, October 13, 2007 at 2:00PM at the Congregational Church of Laconia, 18 Veterans Square, Laconia, N. H. followed by a reception of fellowship and remembrance.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to an organization of your choice.
