William N. Pandolph

Gilford---William N. Pandolph, 77, of 1120 Cherry Valley Road, Gilford, died at the Lakes Region General Hospital, Laconia Sunday October 2, 2005.

Mr. Pandolph was born May 2, 1928 in Woburn, MA the son of the late Carmen and Josephine (Starble) Pandolph. He lived in Woburn for many years moving to Gilford in 1977. He served in the US Marine Corps as a Staff Sargent.

Mr. Pandolph was the owner of Franken Sundae in Meredith for 21 years. He was a loving husband of 50 years, enjoyed traveling, gardening and spending time with his family and grandchildren. He was a kind and gentleman and will be surely missed by his family and friends. He wintered in Charlottesville, Virginia.

Mr. Pandolph was a communicant of St. Joseph Parish, Belmont.

Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Janet Mary (Gaudet) Pandolph of Gilford; a son William David Pandolph and his wife Teresa Wiltse of Concord; a daughter Michele Marie (Pandolph) Blajda and her husband Donald W. Blajda of Canterbury; 4 grandchildren Pierce William Pandolph, Connor Wesley Pandolph, Ryan Joseph Blajda and Madeline Ann Blajda; many nephews and nieces. Beside his parents he was predeceased by a daughter Lynnann Pandolph in 1961, two brothers Anthony and Richard and by 7 sisters Madeline, Anna, Josephine, Clara, Rose, Mary and Eleanor.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday October 5, 2005 form 4-8 PM at the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH using the Carriage House entrance.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday October 6, 2005 at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph Parish, Belmont, NH. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Gilford.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the American Lung Association of NH 9 Cedarwood Dr. Unit 12, Bedford, NH 03110 or Community Health & Hospice 780 North Main Street, Laconia, NH 03246.
