Dorothy Rose Lofstedt

Laconia-----Dorothy Rose Lofstedt, 97, 56 Orchard Street, Laconia, NH and formerly of Lincoln Park, NJ died at the St. Francis Healthcare Center, Laconia on Friday, October 28, 2005. She was the widow of William J. Lofstedt who died in 1990.

Mrs. Lofstedt was born September 9, 1908 in Bronx, New York, the daughter of John E. & Katherine (Baker) Miller. She lived most of her life in Lincoln Park, New Jersey before moving to Laconia five years ago.

Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Elizabeth (Lofstedt) and Franklin T. Tilton, of Laconia; a son-in-law, Donald S. Boyd, of Houston, Texas; seven grandchildren, Paul Tilton of Pleasant Hills, CA, Melinda Tilton of Dallas, Texas, James Tilton of Stow, Ohio, Joshua Boyd of Gig Harbor, WA, CPT Michael Tilton of Enterprise, AL, Katelyn Boyd of Aliso Viejo, CA and Susan Tilton of Colorado Springs, CO and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a daughter, Bernadette “Bonnie” Boyd, in 2002, by a brother, John E. Miller, in 2002 and by a sister, Eileen Martin, in 2005.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, November 4, 2005, from 6:00-9:00PM at the Keri Memorial Funeral Home, 125 Main Street, Lincon Park, New Jersey.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph Church, Lincoln Park, New Jersey on Saturday, November 5, 2005 at 10AM.

Burial will follow in the family lot in Holy Name Cemetery, Jersey City, New Jersey.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the St. Francis Healthcare Center Activity Fund, 406 Court Street, Laconia, NH 03246.
