Raymond J. Vaillancourt

Belmont-----Raymond J. Vaillancourt, 68, of 12 Heritage Terrace, died at his home on Sunday, October 13, 2002.

Mr. Vaillancourt was born in Laconia, NH on July 1, 1934, the son of Albert and Dorothy (Gilbert) Vaillancourt. He was a life long resident of the Lakes Region.

Mr. Vaillancourt served in the U. S. Army for five years and was a custodian for the Gilmanton Schools for 12 years, retiring in 1997.

Mr. Vaillancourt was a communicant of St. Joseph Parish in Belmont, NH.

Mr. Vaillancourt was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Laconia Post #1670 and a member of the American Legion Wilkins Smith Post No. 1. He enjoyed his family and playing cards.

Survivors include his wife of thirty-two years, Linda C. (Gilbert) Vaillancourt, of Belmont; 3 sons, Roland L Vaillancourt and his wife, Pamela of Florida; Tracy A. Vaillancourt and his wife, Angela, and Dennis Vaillancourt, all of Laconia, NH; a daughter, Denise R. Brunelle and her husband, Alan, of Belmont, NH; 8 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; 4 sisters, Mary Jane Chase, Rose Cass, Dorothy Beaupre, all of Belmont, NH and Rita Kimball, of Franklin,NH; two brothers, George J. Vaillancourt of Northfield, NH and Alfred J. Vaillancourt of Florida; and several nephews and nieces.

Calling Hours will be held on Friday, October 25, 2002 from 6:00-8:00PM at the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 26, 2002 at 10:00AM at the Funeral Home.
