Beatrice M. Ladd

Laconia-----Mrs. Beatrice M. Ladd, 77, of 33 Baldwin Street, died at The Lakes Region General Hospital on Friday, October 11, 2002.

Mrs. Ladd was born June 14, 1925 in Franklin, NH the daughter of Stephen and Angeline (Houle) Martel. She was a life long resident of the Lakes Region. She was employed by the Laconia State School and Training Center for over 30 years, retiring in 1987.

Mrs. Ladd was a member of the Laconia VFW Auxillary Post #1670. She enjoyed traveling and playing bingo. She was a true fan of the Boston Red Sox.

Survivors include two daughters, Darlene A Dolloff of Gilford and Darlene M. Hough of Laconia; Two step-sons, Roger Ladd of Gilford and David Ladd of Bellows Falls, VT; three sisters, Mary Flanagan of East Bridgewater, MA, Theresa Martel and Lucille Corey both of Laconia; 6 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren and several nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by her husband Maurice S. Ladd, in January 2000, a step-son Wayne S Ladd in 1991 and a step-daughter Gloria Decker in 1997.

Calling Hours will be held on Sunday, October 13, 2002 from 2-4PM at the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH. using the Carriage House entrance

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, October 14, 2002 at Our Lady of the Lakes Church, Washington Street, Laconia, NH at 10AM. Rev. George Soberick, Pastor of the church will officiate. Burial will follow in the family lot in Pine Grove Cemetery, Gilford, NH.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The American Lung Association, 9 Cedarwood Drive Unit 12, Bedford, NH 03110.

Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
