Gilford----Burt Watson, 62, of Gilford, passed away unexpectedly Monday, November 17, 2008.

He is survived by his wife, Marnie, four children, Christopher Watson, 41, Ron Watson, 40, Heather (Watson) Hickey, 38, and Amanda Watson, 10 and seven grandchildren. Born to Bertha Watson in Newton, MA where he was raised with his cherished siblings, Ralph, Luella, Brenda, and Sandy. Burt was a loving husband and father and a loyal friend. Former owner of Gilford Hills Club in Gilford, he had a positive impact on the lives of many people in the Lakes Region. Burt was a sport and fitness enthusiast, but most enjoyed spending time with his family. He was deeply loved and will be dearly missed.

A private service will be held Saturday, November 22, 2008 in Gilford, followed by an open house celebration of Burt’s life.

We welcome all family and friends to join us at the home of Tom and Heather Hickey, 17 Wilderness Trail in Gilford from 3p-7p.
