Barbara Cram

Myrtle Beach, S.C.-----Barbara Cram, 81, of 1721 High Grove Court North, and formally of Varney Point Road, Gilford died at the Grand Strand Medical Center, Myrtle Beach, S.C. on Wednesday, November 29, 2006.  Mrs. Cram was the widow of Richard R. Cram who died in 1987.  She had been living in Lake Wales, Florida since 1987 until June of this year when she moved to Myrtle Beach.

Mrs. Cram was born April 11, 1925 in Laconia, NH, the daughter of Carroll and Lillian (Wood) Wells.  She graduated from Laconia High School and Mary Washington College in Virginia.

Mrs. Cram was a former member of the Gilford Community Church, Gilford, NH and was involved in various volunteer work here as well as in Florida.

Survivors included a daughter and son-in-law, Martha (Cram) and Willie King, of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; three grandchildren, Amanda King, Justin King and Brandon King all of Myrtle Beach, S.C.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, December 4, 2006 from 10:00AM-11:00AM in the Carriage House of the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH.  A Funeral Service will follow at 11:00AM also at the Funeral Home.  The Rev. Michael C. Graham, pastor of  the Gilford Community Church will officiate.

Burial will follow in the family lot in Union Cemetery, Academy St., Laconia, NH.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
