Madelyn P. Goodwin

Laconia------Madelyn P. Goodwin, 95, of 41 Joliet Street, died at the St. Francis Home on Friday, November 18, 2005. She was the widow of Ernest F. Goodwin who died in 1990.

Mrs. Goodwin was born January 25, 1910 in Bartlett, NH, the daughter of Harold E. and Nellie Mae (Heath) Sinclair. She had been a resident of Laconia for over 50 years and attended the Laconia Congregational Church.

Mrs. Goodwin was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed the outdoors, her flower garden, birds, children and reading.

Survivors include a son, Ernest E. Goodwin, of Gilford, NH; a daughter, Donna Miller, of Swanzey, NH; five grandchildren; six great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren; a sister, Phyllis McLynch, of Intervale, NH and several nephews and nieces. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was predeceased by a daughter, Persis Atwood, and a sister, Olive Davis.

A Calling Hour will be held on Tuesday, November 22, 2005 from 1:00-2:00PM in the Carriage House of the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH. A Funeral Service will follow the

Calling Hour at 2:00PM also at the Funeral Home. Rev. Dr. Warren H. Bouton, Pastor of the Laconia Congregational Church, will officiate.

Burial will follow in the family lot in Bayside Cemetery, Laconia, NH.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the St. Francis Healthcare Center Activities Fund, 406 Court Street, Laconia, NH 03246.
