Constance P. Donovan

Laconia-----Constance P. Donovan, 81, of 25 Union Avenue, died at her home on Friday, November 12, 2004.

Mrs. Donovan was born May 8, 1923 in Gilford, NH, the daughter of Laura M. (Jordan) and William F. Piuma, Sr. She was a lifetime resident of the Lakes Region and was a graduate of Laconia High School.

Mrs. Donovan was a communicant of St. Joseph Church. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

Survivors include three sons, William J. Donovan, of Gilmanton, NH, Michael A. Donovan and Robert C. Donovan both of Laconia, NH; four daughters, Constance M. Donovan of Laconia, NH, Dawna M. Donovan of Sanbornton, NH, Faith L. Scott of Belmont, NH and Laurie D. Leslie of Melvin Village, NH; twenty-nine grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; two sisters, Dorothy Baker and Marion Fanny, both of Boscawen, NH; and several nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by three sons, John L. Donovan, Jr. in 1985, Mark W. Donovan, in 1986 and Brian S. Donovan in 2002; by a brother, William F. Piuma, Jr. and by two sisters, Earline Benoit and Betty Morin.

There will be no calling hours.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday evening, November 15, 2004 at 6:00PM at St. Joseph Church, 30 Church Street, Laconia, NH. Rev. Gary Kosmowski, Pastor of the Church, will be the celebrant.

Burial will be in the family lot in Union Cemetery, Laconia, NH.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Community Health & Hospice, Inc., 780 North Main Street, Laconia, NH 03246 or to the American Cancer Society, Gail Singer Memorial Building, 360 State Rte 101 Suite 501, Bedford, NH 03110-5032.
