Elaine Randlett

Laconia, NH——-Mrs. Elaine (Carignan) Randlett, formerly of Laconia, died on Friday, March 29, 2002, at the age of 91 years and 11 months in Middlefield, Ohio. She was the widow of Myron B. Randlett who died in 1989.

Mrs. Randlett was born April 17, 1910 in Somersworth, NH, the daughter of Napoleon H. and Stella D. (Breton) Carignan.

Mr. & Mrs. Randlett, lived in the family home on Gilford Avenue, Laconia, NH for many years. They were the proprietors of Randlett’s Market from 1943 until they retired in 1973. In their retirement, they made their home on Lake Winnisquam.

Mrs. Randlett was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church in Laconia and a member of St. Jean de Baptiste. She was a talented artist.

Survivors include two sons, Richard W. Randlett of Grass Valley, California and M. Ronald Randlett and his wife, Lillian of Chagrin Falls, Ohio; she was a loving grandmother to four grandchildren, Elaine of Grass Valley, CA, Andrea Renner and husband, Larry of Middlefield, Ohio, Jeffrey and wife, Jo, of Kirtland, Ohio and Jennifer Otto and husband, Craig, of Newbury, Ohio; 3 great grandchildren, Nicholas Randlett and Sydney and Trevor Otto all of Ohio; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers, Lionel and Roland Carignan.

There will be no calling hours.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, April 6, 2002 at 10:00 AM in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Laconia.

Memorial donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
