Laconia——-Stanley J. Pike, 68, of 68 Blueberry Lane, died at the Lakes Region General Hospital on Monday, March 25, 2002.

Mr. Pike was born February 23, 1934 in East Ryegate, Vermont, the son of Raymond W. & Doris T. (Maynes) Pike. He had lived in Laconia most of his life.

Mr. Pike served in the U. S. Army and was a machinist at Aavid Engineering for many years. He enjoyed drawing, taking rides, antiquing and refinishing furniture.

Survivors include his wife, Doris C. (Girard) Pike of Laconia; a son and daughter-in-law, Stephen B. and Bonita Pike of Alexandria, NH; three daughters, Brenda L. Grant and her husband Michael S. Grant of Northfield; Jenny L. Judd of Laconia and Carrie J. Pike of Laconia; 11 grandchildren; a sister, Evelyn Jodoin of Winnisquam and many nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by a sister, Audrey Reynolds.

There will be no calling hours.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 28, 2002 at 11:00 AM in the Carriage House of the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH. Rev. Cynthia T. Morse, Interim Minister of the First Congregational Church in Meredith, will officiate.

Burial will be held at a later date in the family lot in Bayside Cemetery, Laconia.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, Gail Singer Memorial Building, 360 State Route 101 Suite 501, Bedford, NH 03110-5032 or to the American Heart Association, New England Affiliate, 20 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701-4688.
