Wendell C. Moody

Laconia——-Wendell C. Moody, 77, formerly of 110 Spring Street, Laconia, died at the Goldenview Healthcare Center, Meredith on Tuesday, March 12, 2002.

Mr. Moody was born July 15, 1924 in Belmont, NH, the son of Clarence N. & Nannie (Pease) Moody. He lived most of his life in Laconia.

Mr. Moody served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was an accountant and worked for the State of New Hampshire, Highway Division, for many years.

Survivors include his former wife, Gertrude Moody of Laconia; three brothers, Floyd N. Moody of Gilford, Elson H. Moody of Belmont and Neil V. Moody of Concord; one sister, Avis Boatner of Andover, NH; and many nephews and nieces. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by a sister, Shirley
Ladd.

There will be no calling hours.

A Graveside Service will be held at a later date in the family lot in Union Cemetery, Laconia.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the New Hampshire Humane Society, PO Box 572, Laconia, NH 03247-0572.

Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia is in charge of the arrangements.
