James L. Currier

LACONIA — James L. Currier, 92, of 14 Mechanic St., and formerly of 7 Church St., died at the Lakes Region General Hospital, Friday, March 1, 2002.

Mr. Currier was born Dec. 23, 1909, in Epping, the son of Fred A. and Harriet (Twombly) Currier.

Mr. Currier graduated from the Tilton School in 1929. He was a farmer for many years and later was employed at the Franklin Flood Control Dam. After he retired he was the receptionist at the Belknap Mill for a number of years.

He was predeceased by a son Eric W. Currier in 1966.

There are no calling hours.

A graveside service will be held at the Union Cemetery, Laconia, in the spring.

The Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant St., Laconia, is in charge of the arrangements.
