Margaret "Peg" Gove

Laconia—-Mrs. Margaret “Peg” Gove, 43, of 242 Elm Street, died at the Lakes Region General Hospital, Laconia, Saturday, March 9, 2002. She was the widow of Andrew C. Gove who died in 1994.

Mrs. Gove was born in Laconia, May 12, 1958 the daughter of Harold and Marguerite (Rollins) Tarte. She was a life long resident of Laconia. She graduated from Laconia High School in 1976. She was a member of the Lakes Region Drum and Bugle Corps.

Mrs. Gove had been employed for the past 9 years at J Jill in Tilton and formerly had been employed at Lewis & Saunders for 17 years.

Mrs. Gove was a communicant of St. Joseph Church, Laconia.

Survivors include her son Trevor Andrew Gove of Laconia; her mother Marguerite (Rollins) Tarte of Laconia; 4 sisters Maxine Violette of Belmont, Donna Robert of Weathersfield, VT., Martha Tuttle of Peterborough, NH and Lois Pinard of Belmont; 4 brothers Timothy Tarte, James Tarte , Paul Tarte all of Laconia ; and Carl Tarte of Center Harbor; many nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by her father, a brother William Tarte and a sister Kathleen Tarte.

There are no calling hours.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in St. Joseph Church, Laconia, Tuesday, March 12, 2002 at 10:30 AM. The Rev. Gary Kosmowski, Pastor of the church will officiate. Spring burial will be in Union Cemetery, Laconia.

The Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, is in charge of the arragnemets.
