Andrew C. Birch

Belmont, NH——-Andrew C. Birch, 87, of 12 Mallards Landing, died at his home on
Thursday, March 28, 2002. He was the widower of Catherine Birch who died in 1991.

Mr. Birch was born February 20, 1915 in Boston, MA, the son of Andrew J. and Annie (Baxter) Birch.

During World War II, Mr. Birch served in the U. S. Army in the Pacific Theater.

He lived in Bedford, MA for many years before moving to Belmont, NH over twenty years ago. He was a truck driver for J. N. Muldoon for 40 years and was a Retired Teamster of Local 25, Boston.

Mr. Birch was a former officer of Mallards Landing.

Survivors include a son, Donald W. Birch of Lexington, MA; two daughters, Carol Ranger of Belmont, NH and Diane L. Mckenzie of Bedford, MA; 10 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; a stepbrother, Robert Birch, of Pennsylvania; several nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by a brother, Richard Birch and three sisters, Eleanor Hatch, Jean Snow and Margaret Lancaster.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, March 29, 2002 from 3-6PM in the Carriage House of the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, March 30, 2002 at 10:00AM at the family lot in Shawsheen Cemetery, Bedford, MA.
